1. AGREEMENT TO TERMS

These Terms of Service constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User") and Payge ("Platform") regarding your access to and use of the Payge web application, reader rewards system, author marketplace, and associated services. By creating an account or accessing the platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. ELIGIBILITY & USER ACCOUNTS

Account Creation: You must provide accurate, complete, and updated information during registration.
Account Responsibility: You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
Prohibited Actions: You agree not to create automated accounts, use web scrapers, or deploy bots to manipulate reading times or reward balances.

3. VIRTUAL ECONOMY, GEMS, AND MONETIZATION

Virtual Assets: Payge utilizes a virtual reward system consisting of Gold Gems and Silver Gems. Gems are non-monetary, platform-specific virtual utility tokens used for cosmetic items, profile customization, and chapter unlocks.
Earning Mechanics: Reading rewards, multipliers (such as the Payge Premium 1.2x boost), and daily bonuses are distributed according to platform logic. Payge reserves the right to adjust earning rates, library capacities, or cosmetic store pricing to preserve platform stability.
Anti-Cheating & Verification: Any attempt to exploit reading timers, run background scripts, or manipulate ad views will result in immediate gem forfeiture and permanent account suspension.

4. AUTHOR & CREATOR PUBLISHING POLICY

Content Ownership: Authors retain full ownership and intellectual property rights over original manuscripts uploaded to Payge.
Content License: By publishing a book on Payge, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, display, and distribute the work across our web application.
Publishing Quotas: Authors agree to abide by platform content submission guidelines, including designated ratios for free and premium chapters.
Prohibited Content: Manuscripts containing illegal material, hate speech, severe copyright infringement, or non-consensual content will be removed immediately without prior notice.

5. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS

Unless otherwise stated, all platform designs, codebase, brand logos, custom UI avatars, cosmetic frame styles, and software architectures are the exclusive property of Payge and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

6. THIRD-PARTY ADVERTISEMENTS & LINKS

Payge displays third-party programmatic advertisements provided by networks such as Google AdSense. We do not endorse or assume responsibility for any third-party products, services, or web destinations linked through advertisement banners.

7. TERMINATION & LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Termination: Payge reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms, non-compliance with community policies, or fraudulent activity.
Limitation of Liability: Payge is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from system downtime, data loss, or temporary service interruptions.

8. GOVERNING LAW & AMENDMENTS
